Hi Paul, re: UBID BUDGET 2020
Problem with parcel tax??
2018 budget for parcel tax revenue was 242,535 divided by 345 =703 homes
2019 budget for parcel tax revenue was 242, 535 divided by 345 =703 homes
2020 budget for parcel tax revenue was 269,129 divided by 390 =690 homes
ARE WE GOING BACKWARDS
Another 13 homes times $390 is $5,070 in revenue.
Is this sloppy paperwork.
CEC’s
UBID has no CEC credits proposed in their revenue to offset the cost for the water treatment plant.
There are 80 to 120 lots proposed to be complete in the Union Bay Estates project phase 1. 120 lots times $8,900 is a lot of money.
Water tolls
The actual water tolls for the years 2015 to 2018
2015—-367,508
2016—-370,131
2017—-384,499
2018—-384,309
Budget for 2019 was $ 445,000, a $60,691 increase over 2018 and no increase in water toll rates.
Budget for 2020 is $562,140, a $117,140 increase over 2019
The 2020 increase in water tolls of $15.00 times 6 billings times 690 homes is $62,100. UBID should justify the proposed budget increases in 2019 and 2020.
Expenses
Loan payments and charges $209,129.16
What is the principle amount and what is the interest amount.
GETTING TIRED, MORE TO COME….

A FEW MORE COMMENTS ON THE 2020 BUDGET FOR YOUR INFO
Revenue
1} I see no revenue for connection/ disconnection fees
I assume from this that UBID is not expecting any new residential homes being built in 2020 ,developer or otherwise. This goes hand in hand with the CEC credits previously explained.
2] Hydrant maintenance $5,392.58
I have no idea what this is or where the revenue comes from. There was no revenue from this category in 2018 or 2019.
3} Rental Income $5,000
What rental revenue is this??
4} Property tax budget for Fire Reserve for 2020 is $459,030
This is the same amount as 2019 yet the budget expenses for 2020 have increased by $41,548
